About BlaqJeffI'm back on! Hey, everyone. How's it going? Thank you for checking out my page. On this page you will find some slammin' house music mixes, well...at least I think they're slammin'. Anyway, let me tell you about myself. As you may already know, my name is BlaqJeff and I am a DJ. I first began this hobby about 16-17 years ago. I use to go to a club in the city called the Tunnel. The resident DJ at that time was Danny Teneglia. I tell you, the dude blew my mind and I felt that with a little bit of practice I could do the same. Little did I know...lol Well, I started playing friends parties and a few small raves and I never progressed passed that point. I sold my gear and started concentrating on my work life and for 10 years I never really thought about DJing. However, about 2-3 years ago, for some strange reason, I was bitten by the DJ bug. And you know what? I love it more now than I did when I first began DJing all those years ago. Last year, I hooked up with a local group of DJs called ADG and I have been on such an amazing journey. With ADG, I have been gigging regularly throughout NYC bringing folks the sound of underground house music. now, I have a residency at Kush Lounge as part of the HouseSpinners with my homeboy, DJ Mus! Every week we bring you the hottest DJs in NYC and beyond, such as Mr. V, Kevin Yost, AB Logic, Juan Maclean...etc. Stop by and say hello.
